humm Order Workflow & Statuses
When a customer places an order using humm payment method on Magento checkout, a sales order is created in Pending
state as a record of the transaction in Orders listing page. In the Orders grid, sales orders initially have a status of Pending
, and can be canceled at any time until the payment is processed. After payment is confirmed, the humm order is invoiced and can be shipped.
Order Pending - The initial order status of the humm order is Pending. In this state, the payment has not been processed and the order can still be edited or canceled.
Received Payment - humm order status in Magento changes to Processing
when payment is received or captured after the customer finalizes and accepts the repayment plan in the humm portal and redirected back to the merchant shopping cart. Merchant receives the order notification once the order is in Processing state and captured. Order is invoiced and the copy is sent to the customer
Cancelled Order - Pending orders are cancelled automatically if not completed by the customer within the Hold inventory stock time limit configured in the humm plugin settings.
Below are the statuses you can expect to see related to humm orders

Pending | Pending | The Hold Inventory Stock (minutes) feature is disabled. This status indicates that no Humm payment, invoice, or shipments have been submitted, and the Hold Inventory is not released. |
Processing | Completed | The Humm payment is successfully processed and completed. |
Cancelled | Failed | The Humm payment is declined, failed, encountered an error, or the customer cancels the order. The order description will be set as "This order is cancelled by customer, Hummgroup, or Humm Payment." |
Cancelled | N/A | The time limit for unpaid orders is reached. The order status is updated from Pending to Cancelled. No transaction fee is charged by Humm. The Hold Inventory is released. The order description will be set as "Cancelled by Hummgroup CornTab due to the configured Hold Inventory Stock (Minutes) limitation." |
